State & Allen Kitchen + Bar has got you covered, with the  best patio in Uptown. Conveniently located at the corner of State St. and Allen St., our patio wraps the corner, giving you the best views for people watching and visiting with friends.

If you are looking for an excuse to come out and enjoy this gorgeous fall weather, then join us this Tuesday  – or any Tuesday – for half price draft, craft beers all day long. Our list is extensive, so there’s something for everyone. Need a few recommendations? We’ve got you covered:

·         Founders All Day IPA: What started as a small startup on the verge of brankruptcy, turned into a well-recognized brewery that is consistently ranked as one of the best in the United States. The difference? The company made a pledge to only brew high-quality, original beers that excited  their taste buds. No mass market, average beers. Founders All Day IPA is one of their most popular offerings because it’s just a good, well-rounded brew. Crisp, with a great mixture of hops, grains, and malts.

·         Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat: Boulevard must be doing something right, as they are known as the largest specialty brewery in the Midwest. Boulevard’s Unfiltered Wheat is there most popular of the wide variety of craft beers offered, known for being the best-welling craft beer in the Midwest. It’s an all-American brew, known for its citrusy tones and cloudy appearance. Smooth and delicious, it’s an everyday kind of ale.

·         Peticolas Velvet Hammer Imperial Red Ale: Peticolas Brewery Company is located right here in the Big D, bringing the art of craft brewing to Texas. What started as a hobby, turned into a full-time job, as the fruits of their labor were delicious. Velvet Hammer is just as it sounds: velvety reddish in appearance, well balanced with mixtures of sweet and bitter flavors, and full of hops. It’s the perfect accompaniment to spicy food.
