Jonathan Calabrese, Executive Chef and Owner of State & Allen, best described Rachel as “one of the real great ones.” And a great one she is!
Originally from Dallas, Rachel began her tenure with us as a server, exuding excellence and enthusiasm to all of our customers. She quickly moved up the ranks, moving from server to Front of House manager, then to accounting manager, and then to her current role as the manager of State & Allen’s entire catering department.
What makes Rachel Boyce so special is her attention to detail and how she takes on each task within this company as if it were her own company. Not to mention that her work ethic is second to none – never a need to ask “why,” she just handles business! Rachel is an incredible role model for the entire company and we are beyond proud to have her as part of our team.
In her spare time, Rachel is a patron of the arts. She has a love for great music, great food, and spending time with friends. And with her culinary chops, she can bake some of the most beautiful cakes you’ve ever seen! She loves to travel, and has a soft spot in her heart for Chicago. If you ever want to get on Rachel’s good side, start a conversation about one of her beloved Chicago sports teams. One of Rachel’s favorite quotes is “Do what you love, love what you do.”
