You’re not alone. Summer hits and all we can think about is watching the waves crash and feeling the sand between our toes. While not all of us are fortunate enough to spend our summer seaside, State & Allen Kitchen + Bar brings you tastes of the sea – our way of helping you get your beach fix.
As with all of our dishes, State & Allen uses fresh, quality ingredients in all of our seafood dishes. In our Dallas scratch kitchen, we are always coming up with new favorites sure to whet your appetite. Here are a few of our new seafood menu offerings to try this summer!
Appetizer: Crispy Calamari
Fried calamari is one of our all-time favorites, and State & Allen does it up right with lightly breaded and spiced calamari is cooked to perfection and served with your favorite homemade dipping sauces – cilantro ranch or chili sauce.
Salad: Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna Salad
Thick Ahi Tuna is coated in a sesame crust and seared rare, then placed on a bed of napa cabbage, carrots, radish, jicama, cucumbers and peanuts. A miso peanut vinaigrette is drizzled on the salad to finish it off.
Sandwich: Blackened Fish Tacos
Street tacos are one of our faves because of the fresh ingredients and simplicity in the dish. Try our blackened fish tacos, complete with a tangy slaw and house sauce.
Bistro Entrée: Crab Stuffed Manicotti
Delectable manicotti melts in your mouth when stuffed with fresh crab meat and cheese, then drizzled in vodka sauce. Served with corn and asparagus so you don’t feel as guilty about this rich dish!
