Peticolas Brewing Co. – Velvet Hammer

If you love a rich, dark beer to heat you up on a cool Fall day, then look no further than the Velvet Hammer. This full-bodied is sturdy, with notes of caramel and brown sugar that soften it. It pairs well with a burger and a steak. Just sayin’.

Oak Highlands Brewery – Red Wine Barrel Aged Hypocrite

Another staple at State & Allen that you won’t find at all the restaurants in downtown Dallas is the Mosaic IPA from Community Brewing Co. It’s hoppy, which is where it gets its name since it’s named for a variety of hops called “Mosaic.” The result: a beer that is well balanced, bold in flavor, and complete with a heady nose that simply can’t be beaten in the IPA world.
